+ What payment methods do you accept ?

We like to keep it simple and seamless: cash or card. Bare in mind the 3% charge for card users - they sneaky like that !

+ How can I prepare for my tattoo session ?

Show up like a pro:

✨ Stay hydrated and fuel up with a solid meal, keep your blood sugar levels up.

🚫 Skip the booze and other substances for 24 hours before your session, or whatever we aren’t your parents. 

👕 Dress comfortably, and make sure we can easily access the tattoo area.

💧 Keep your skin happy—moisturize in the days leading up but skip it on the big day !

+ How do I book an appointment?

You can book directly and speak with a real human being through WhatsApp or Instagram. Pro tip: Lock in your date early—we fill up fast ! Details on where to find us down below 👇

+ What types of tattoos do you specialize in ?

We bring your story to life, one ink stroke at a time. From fine line, dotwork, mandalas, sacred geometry, realism, watercolour, and more. Each design is custom-crafted to match your vibe.

+ Do I have to pay any deposit ?

To secure your spot and respect our artist time, all bookings are subjected to 500K - 1mil IDR deposit that is deductible from the cost of your tattoo. This deposit is NON-refundable, unless some kind of real emergency happened, in that case of course we’ve got your back. You can send it to us via transfer, pay by credit card or you can drop it cash directly at Karma House at least 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

+ How should I care for my tattoo after the session ?

Your ink deserves TLC:

💧 Keep it clean and moisturized.

🌞 Avoid the sun and swimming until it’s fully healed.

📋 Follow the aftercare tips from your artist to the letter.

+ Do you use vegan-friendly ink ?

Always. Our inks are vegan, cruelty-free, nontoxic, and 100% aligned with our mindful ethos. Very demure, very mindful.

+ Can I get a tattoo if I’m recently super sunburned ? 

Nope, let your skin heal first. Healthy skin = perfect ink.

+ Do you offer touch-ups ?

Absolutely! Free touch-ups are available within the first 3 months (conditions apply). Let’s make sure your tattoo stays flawless.

+ Is there a minimum age to get tattooed ?

Yes, please don’t be a child. 

+ Do you offer consultations ?

Absolutely ! We love chatting about your vision. DM us to schedule a free consultation in person with one of our artists—let’s create something unforgettable.

+ Can I bring my own design ?

Of course ! Whether it’s a sketch, reference, or just an idea in your head, we’ll collaborate to make it tattoo-ready.

+ What should I avoid doing after getting a tattoo ?

Steer clear of soaking in pools, scratching, or exposing your fresh ink to direct sunlight. Follow our aftercare instructions for the best results !

+ Can I bring a friend to my appointment ?

Yes, moral support is welcome! But keep it to one person, so the studio stays calm and focused.

+ Do you take walk-ins ?

We’re primarily appointment-based, but also accept walk-ins if our schedule allows. Check our Insta stories for updates on availability, or send us a WhatsApp message.

+ How long does a tattoo session take ?

It depends on the design. Small tattoos might take under an hour, while detailed pieces or sleeves could require multiple sessions. For larger designs, we recommend scheduling a separate consultation with our team.

+ Do tattoos hurt ?

Let’s be real: there’s some discomfort, but pain tolerance varies. Most clients say it’s totally manageable, and the result is 100% worth it ! If not, don’t worry, we also have numbing cream that we can apply prior to getting your tattoo done - extra cost on that there !

+ What happens if I need to reschedule ?

Life happens, we get it ! Just let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing your deposit.

+ Can you cover up or fix an old tattoo ?

Yes ! We love transforming old or unwanted tattoos into something fresh and new. Send us a photo, and we’ll discuss your options.

+ I saw you give back to Balinese community. How can I give back as well ?

Giving back to the local community is very important to us, especially to kids at a disability school here in Gianyar, Ubud. It’s our main reason for existing and we love to have you apart of that as well - donations can be made when you come in and all proceeds go straight to the school and kids ! 🤍
