Before you start on your ink journey, experiencing a sacred tattoo blessing ceremony with our priestess is a beautiful way to honour your body as a temple and to invoke positive energy into the tattooing process.
What the Ceremony Entails:
Offerings: Ibu Wayan prepares offerings of flowers, incense, and other symbolic items to honour the Divine beings and seek their blessings.
Prayers and Mantras: She chants traditional Balinese prayers and mantras to purify the tattoo space, you, your artist, and the tools that will be used.
Purification: Holy water will be sprinkled as a symbol of cleansing and spiritual purification.
Blessings: Ibu Wayan blesses you with protection, healing, and positive energy to accompany the tattoo and its wearer. This ceremony is a deeply personal and meaningful experience, connecting you to the rich cultural heritage of Bali and setting a positive intention for your tattoo journey. It's a way to honour the sacredness of the art form and to invite positive energy into the process.
